Security Technology Infrastructure

  • Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of:
    • CCTV ecosystem: IP cameras, PTZ, thermal imaging, encoders, NVRs/DVRs, video management servers.
    • Access Control Systems (ACS): controllers, readers, biometric devices, turnstiles, and associated software platforms.
    • Alarm & Notification Systems: intrusion detection, fire alarm integration, PA systems.
    • Network Security Layer: LAN/WAN architecture, MPLS connections, VPN tunnels for remote monitoring.
    • Databases & Servers: SQL/Oracle-based backend for security applications, storage servers, redundancy, and backup.

Networking & Systems Administration

  • IP configuration, subnet masking, VLAN creation, and bandwidth optimization for security devices.
  • Manage server OS, database health, patches, upgrades, and cybersecurity compliance for security applications.
  • Perform network diagnostics using IP tracer tools, packet monitoring, and logs analysis.
  • Ensure high availability of security systems through redundancy and disaster recovery planning.

 

Technical Operations & Support

  • Lead L1/L2 troubleshooting for all security tech issues; escalate complex cases to OEM/vendor.
  • Maintain PPM schedules for all electronic systems and ensure audit-readiness.
  • Evaluate new technologies (AI video analytics, facial recognition, LPR, cloud-based monitoring).
  • Document and update system diagrams, IP schemas, controller mapping, and integration architecture.
  • Oversee system migrations (legacy → IP cameras, ACS upgrades, VMS enhancements).

 

Stakeholder Management & Projects

  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and OEM vendors for seamless system performance.
  • Provide technical consultancy for new campus projects, including design validation and FAT/SAT testing.
  • Support audits (client/internal/external) with complete technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity guidelines for security systems.

 Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, MPLS, IP routing, subnetting, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Expertise in Access Control, CCTV, and VMS platforms (Honeywell, Lenel, CCure, Genetec, Milestone, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret network diagrams, system architecture, and wiring schematics.
  • Vendor and contractor management for project execution and AMC.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Diploma, BSC Computer Sceince, B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent).
• Min 7 years of experience in managing small or large-scale security technology infrastructure in corporate/ITSEZ/campus environments
