What You'll Do:
- Review, code, and process high-volume invoices for multiple commercial properties
- Allocate expenses accurately by property, building, and cost center
- Match purchase orders, service contracts, and invoices
- Ensure proper approvals in accordance with property management agreements
- Maintain vendor files, including W-9s and insurance certificates
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Track and process recurring expenses such as utilities and service contracts
- Assist with bill-backs
- Support month-end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciliations
- Assist with data entry for tracking purposes
- Respond to vendor and property management inquiries
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
- Act as support/backup for reception/front desk, ad hoc assignments

- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. Knowledge of simple accounting fundamentals.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in commercial real estate or property management.
- Understanding of basic property-level accounting and expense allocations.
- Experience with property management/accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, RealPage).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
