About the Role:

As a Property Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial planning and analysis
funtion, providing advanced financial analysis, budgeting, and forecating support to senior
management and other stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide supervision, performance reviews, and mentorship to team members
  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values
  • Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures
  • Work to build consensus
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for various business units
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders and teams
  • Identify and analyze complex financial issues and develop recommendations for resolution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience
  • Thorough understanding of accounting fundamentals required
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job
  • function and basic knowledge of related job functions required
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information
  • Expert knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset
  • Exceptional math skills with the ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Property Accountant position is $85,000 annually with bonus eligibility and the maximum salary for the position is $90,000 annually with bonus eligibility. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
