About the Role
As a CBRE Mechanical Engineer to support commercial and industrial facilities. You will oversee mechanical systems performance, lead preventive and corrective maintenance, support project upgrades, and ensure regulatory compliance for building M&E systems.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and maintain mechanical systems: chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs/FCUs, ventilation systems, compressors, and mechanical plant equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, inspections, vibration checks, flow/pressure testing, and mechanical system diagnostics.
- Maintain HVAC systems, piping networks, valves, ducting, and mechanical equipment serving commercial/industrial buildings.
- Support mechanical requirements for industrial machinery, production equipment, and process utilities.
- Execute PM/CM/CBM programs and update work orders using CMMS.
- Ensure compliance with SCDF Fire Code, WSH regulations, and local mechanical/maintenance standards.
- Assist in shutdowns, retrofit works, system upgrades, and testing & commissioning.
- Maintain mechanical drawings, O&M records, reports, and asset documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, tenants, and facilities teams.
What You’ll Need:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in aviation, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or mission critical facilities is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical plant equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiar with CMMS, BMS, and mechanical safety procedures.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
