The Global QHSE & Compliance Manager is responsible for implementing, developing and delivering Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategies, policies and processes across all client locations globally (US, EMEA, APAC). The role ensures compliance with client, CBRE and legislative requirements, driving consistent standards and continuous improvement in QHSE performance.


What You Will Do:

• Ensure global portfolio compliance with Health & Safety, legal/statutory, contractual and risk management requirements through audits and inspections.
• Develop, implement and standardize QHSE processes and procedures across all regions.
• Drive a strong culture of compliance aligned with legal, contractual and client requirements.
• Act as the account’s QHSE subject matter expert, advising teams and staying current on industry, statutory, client and CBRE standards.
• Monitor, analyze and report QHSE performance trends and KPIs to ensure legal and contractual compliance.
• Lead projects and initiatives that close performance gaps and support continuous improvement.
• Support energy, sustainability and waste reduction initiatives as a TRUE Waste Advisor.
• Establish performance tracking tools and review metrics to identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure availability, quality and accuracy of statutory QHSE documentation through regular monitoring and sample audits.
• Maintain updated legal registers and incorporate legislative changes into CBRE and client processes.
• Deliver QHSE communications, guidance and training to maintain competence and awareness.
• Coordinate Safety Champions and external QHSE resources; act as primary point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Build strong client relationships, providing assurance and strengthening CBRE’s QHSE reputation.


What You Will Need:

• Formal qualifications in Health and Safety Management and Environmental Management (Level 6) with relevant post qualification experience.
• Fluent English.
• Practical experience implementing safety management systems in a multi country office portfolio.
• Experience delivering successful QHSE projects and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of QHSE legal frameworks.
• Formal qualification and practical experience in QHSE management system auditing.
• Qualifications related to environmental or safety management system auditing (including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
• Hands on experience in Risk, Incident and Investigation Management.
• Demonstrable experience collaborating with stakeholders across countries and delivering measurable QHSE improvements.
• Strong motivational and influencing skills; able to contribute effectively across all business functions.
• Knowledge of data capture and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) — desirable.
• Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2) — desirable.
