The Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data visualization and analytics solutions to support business decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong stakeholder management, and a proactive approach to automation and innovation.
- Dashboard Development & Management
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for CB.
- Oversee and enhance existing Tableau dashboards on Vantage to ensure accuracy, usability, and business relevance. You will coordinate efforts with V
- Track open items, gather feedback from stakeholders, and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Create and manage tickets for new features, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Partner closely with the Vantage Customer Success Manager (CSM) to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Project & Requirements Management
- Support D&T (Digital & Technology) projects by working with functional leads to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into scalable BI solutions, tools, or reporting frameworks as needed.
- Automation & AI Initiatives
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes across business units.
- Recommend and implement AI-driven and automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Access & License Management
- Manage user access controls, including onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
- Monitor BI tool licenses (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), track usage, identify underutilization or overspend, and optimize license allocation across users.
- Work closely with relevant teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date access permissions and cost efficiency.
- Data Governance & Documentation
- Maintain proper documentation of dashboards, processes, and data flows.
- Ensure adherence to data governance standards, including data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with teams such as ServiceNow, Information Security (InfoSec), and other internal stakeholders to secure access approvals and onboard new tools or platforms.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Track performance measurement, reporting, and campaign optimization. This includes performance vs. KPI, ROI, and consumer trends.
- Prepare and present results of data review and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to Sr. management.
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
- Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the [Business Intelligence Manager] position is $110,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the [Business Intelligence Manager] position is $120,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
