About the Role 

Join CBRE as a Vendor Management Leader, where you will manage transformative outsourcing and insourcing initiatives and play a critical role in the performance and governance of CBRE’s external service providers. You will partner with senior leaders and BPO suppliers to optimize processes, strengthen compliance, streamline costs, and ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery across Finance and Operations. 


This role leads the complete vendor lifecycle—from contracting and performance management to operational governance and continuous improvement—while supporting value creation across the enterprise. 

  

Please Note 

  • Starting compensation for this position ranges between $115,000–$124,000 annually. 
  • This position is bonus eligible. 
  • This is a location‑independent (remote) role. 

What You’ll Do 

Vendor Strategy & Relationship Leadership 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CBRE leadership teams and suppliers. 
  • Partner with vendors to scale capabilities and ensure alignment with evolving business needs. 
  • Act as the primary escalation contact for service issues, delivery risks, and partner concerns. 

Contracting, RFPs & Commercial Governance 

  • Coordinate RFPs, supplier qualification, pricing reviews, and contract negotiations. 
  • Serve as final reviewer/approver for contracts, renewals, amendments, and change requests. 
  • Ensure contractual compliance and maintain audit‑ready documentation. 

Outsourcing Governance & Transition Management 

  • Lead the end‑to‑end outsourcing lifecycle, including onboarding, transitions, and delivery stabilization. 
  • Maintain and enhance Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. 
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual commitments and delivery timelines. 

Supplier Performance & Issue Management 

  • Define performance objectives and track SLA/KPI compliance across service towers. 
  • Participate in ongoing governance reviews and manage issue remediation. 
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective action plans. 

Operational Excellence & Innovation 

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce cost‑to‑serve. 
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance reporting, vendor oversight, and portfolio governance. 
  • Proactively resolve contractual, operational, and financial issues. 

Financial Management 

  • Align budgets, forecasts, and cost allocation frameworks with leadership expectations. 
  • Ensure accurate vendor financial planning, approvals, and oversight of spend. 

Team Leadership 

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and development opportunities to team members. 
  • Promote a culture of accountability, high performance, and operational rigor. 

What You’ll Need 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5–8 years in vendor management, outsourcing governance, or related fields. 
  • Preferred certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, aCOP, SRM Practitioner. 
  • Experience managing outsourced service delivery and SLA/KPI‑based performance. 
  • Understanding of Finance Operations processes (P2P, RTR, OTC preferred). 
  • Strong contract and business terminology knowledge. 
  • Ability to analyze complex documents, resolve sensitive issues, and communicate effectively. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with automation or analytics tools preferred. 
  • Ability to travel as required.
