Project Manager

For our DataCenter business line we are looking for a Project Manager. In this challenging role, you may soon be responsible for generating and delivering projects for our various customer locations throughout the Netherlands.

What are you going to do?
As a Project Manager you have an important role in the rapid developments within our data center clients. In the partnership between CBRE DCS (Data Center Solutions) and our clients, more and more projects are outsourced to CBRE. As a project manager you often work together with stakeholders on the clientside and suppliers, but also with the CBRE departments legal, sales and finance. Your success factors are drawing up plans and budgets, delivering projects within set frameworks and managing clients and suppliers. For this you draw up frameworks for tenders and project execution.

As a Project Manager you are responsible for the projects assigned to you during define, design and deliver phases. Projects take place at the various data centers in the Netherlands. The projects are diverse and include subprojects such as renovations in the existing data center (architectural), asset replacements, modifications to installations (improvements in reliability or energy savings), expansion of infrastructure for new installations (installation technical). The projects are diverse in value and technically complex in nature. This complexity often lies in the competent management of the work in an operational critical environment environment. Furthermore, on a tactical level you are the central point of contact for suppliers where progress is continuously monitored.

Other tasks and responsibilities include:

• You keep track of the progress of the project in relation to objectives and budgets;

• You lead project delivery resources/team and provide project guidance and direction to achieve project goals;

• You ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures;

• You implement project documentation management in line with the requirements of the company and the customer;

• You ensure that the integrity and documentation of project data is accurate, timely and coordinated;

• You develop a good relationship with stakeholders.

• You look for new project opportunities with your clients.

What do we ask of you?

Ideally, you should also take the following with you:

• HBO diploma Technology, Architecture or a similar direction;

• You have gained at least 4+ years of experience in a previous (technical) project manager position;

• You are flexible and have adaptability;

• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing;

• You are analytically and organizationally strong;

• You have knowledge of financial terms;

• You are available full-time (40 hours);

• You have good knowledge of the English language, knowledge of the Dutch language is a nice to have.
