About the Role:

As a CBRE Events Specialist, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of client facing and internal corporate events that support business development and brand engagement. This role focuses on planning and assisting with event logistics, communications, and materials while working closely with the Global Events Team to deliver unique, elevated, and well-organized experiences.


What You’ll Do:

  • Support the planning and execution of corporate, client, and internal events, including meetings, presentations, and a limited number of virtual events, with attention to detail and consistency of delivery.
  • Support the Event Team’s Head of Operations to help drive operation efficiency within the Global Events Team
  • Coordinate event logistics such as scheduling, vendor communications, guest invitations, and the setup and maintenance of event and registration websites using the Bizzabo platform.
  • Track event billing and invoices, assisting with budget documentation and reconciliation in coordination with internal teams.
  • Maintain and manage event lists, including registrations, rooming lists, and activity participation, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Assist in preparing event related presentations, proposals, and communications that support CBRE events and business objectives.
  • Manage the department’s inventory of event supplies and promotional materials, ensuring materials are organized, available, and properly tracked.
  • Coordinate the collection, organization, and shipping of event materials for individual events, supporting on site and post event needs.
  • Organize and maintain digital event files, including templates, timelines, budgets, and reports, to support efficient event planning and execution.
  • Update and maintain event related digital platforms, including the events intranet page, event websites, and the global events calendar.
  • Support vendor and venue coordination, maintaining regular communication and assisting with follow ups throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Collect and compile attendee feedback and post event information, assisting with summaries and documentation of event outcomes.
  • Provide administrative support for process improvements, helping implement updates that enhance team efficiency and event execution.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
  • Ability to evaluate and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Advanced organizational skills with a curious mindset.
