About the role

The Project Manager provides consulting services to our client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Construction projects may include infrastructure/MEP capital improvements, campus transformation, and office workplace IT and AV enablement for three large corporate office campuses in Atlanta, GA. The Project Manager will possibly manage national projects while providing administrative support to Sr. Project Managers.

This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Role offers a hybrid 4/1 schedule (Monday-Thursday) onsite on corporate campus in Atlanta, GA.

What you’ll do

Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.

Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.

Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.

Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.

Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.

Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of your job subject area and a broad understanding of several job fields within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values.

Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings. Financial forecasting and reporting experience are beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Procore or similar project management software. Lucernex software experience is beneficial.
  • Understanding of technical project scheduling like IT to avoid work interruptions
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information with a willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
