About the Role
Under general supervision, the Investment Banking Analyst conducts advanced financial analysis and research to support investment banking initiatives. The role is responsible for developing financial models, evaluating real estate and corporate financial structures, and preparing analytical materials that support advisory and capital markets transactions.
This position plays a key role in analyzing financial performance, supporting valuation conclusions, and preparing materials used in client presentations and investor communications. The analyst will collaborate closely with internal team members, clients, and potential investors to provide data-driven insights and support investment banking advisory services.
What You’ll Do

Conduct underwriting and financial analysis to support investment banking and advisory transactions.

Develop financial models to evaluate capital structures and transaction scenarios.

Analyze real estate assets and corporate financials to determine valuation conclusions.

Research companies, industries, and real estate assets to support transaction strategy and client advisory.

Prepare financial reports outlining assumptions, valuation methodologies, and financial performance.

Contribute financial analysis to client presentations, pitch materials, and internal tracking databases.

Assist in preparing financial sections of Placement Memorandums and other marketing materials for potential investors.

Respond to client and investor questions regarding financial modeling and transaction analysis.

Collaborate with internal team members and external stakeholders throughout the transaction process.

Coordinate tasks with support staff and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance or a related field from a four-year college or university.
0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, investment banking, real estate finance, or a related analytical field.
Ability to obtain Series 79 and Series 63 Securities Licenses within the first three months of employment.
Strong understanding of financial terminology, principles, and valuation concepts.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex business and financial documents.
Experience conducting financial and business analysis, including preparing reports and analytical summaries.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to calculate complex financial figures and evaluate multiple scenarios.
Ability to solve problems involving multiple variables and make sound judgments within established procedures and policies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with ARGUS or other real estate valuation software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
