Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Electrical Senior Design Engineer with a minimum of 8 + years of experience in the fit-out industry, preferably with Design Consultant background who handles multinational corporations (MNCs). The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete electrical design lifecycle for fit-out projects, from initial site assessment to project completion. This role requires a strong understanding of building codes (NBC, local norms, BIS), design software, and project management principles.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough due diligence reports on project sites, floors, and buildings.
• Collaborate effectively with the Data Centre (DC) team, clients, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design specifications.
• Develop accurate budget estimations and proposals for projects.
• Prepare comprehensive design brief reports that adhere to NBC, local norms, and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulations.
• Calculate electrical and UPS loads for projects.
• Develop detailed electrical designs, including schematic designs for critical rooms (server rooms, battery rooms, UPS rooms, and hub rooms).
• Prepare detailed IT network, CCTV, and access control drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Manage the tender preparation process, including the preparation of drawings and BOQs.
• Develop comprehensive technical specifications tailored to project requirements.
• Prepare complete construction documents.
• Issue General Fixture Cards (GFCs) for shop drawing preparation.
• Coordinate effectively with vendors and contractors to ensure projects are executed according to specifications and timelines.
• Oversee quality control and adherence to safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
