About the Role:
As a CBRE Critical Services Technician Apprentice, you will assist the team with resolving and completing day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction targets and ensure completion in the period required.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Job shadow team members to observe and obtain on-the-job skills.
- Maintain an up-to-date log of work completed and outstanding items through the in-house system.
- Comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements.
- Participate in the critical services training program.
- Observe Critical Services Planned Preventative Maintenance assessments.
- Log and action all out-of-line situations with incident reports. Escalate to Management as needed.
- Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
- Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion.
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program or technical school.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
