About the Role:

As a CBRE HVAC Sr. Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at multiple facilities.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:
• Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain large electric or pneumatic control systems used for building.
• heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, Calibrate instruments, gauges, and control components.
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of
equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Troubleshoot difficult equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Manage HVAC stock levels for materials, supplies, and component needs on hand.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need:
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma. A red seal HVAC License or a Journeyman certification is required. Valid driver's license and completion of an apprenticeship required. Prior HVAC and supermarket refrigeration experience preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and
the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
