About the Role:

The CBRE Local Facilities Management (FM) Internship Program is a 10-week immersive, hands-on experience designed for college students interested in pursuing a career in facilities management and real estate services. This program provides meaningful exposure to CBRE’s local FM operations through project-based learning, mentorship, and rotational experiences, while developing both technical and professional skills.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Project-Based Learning:
    • Interns will be assigned to work on a project by an account Director
    • Skill Development: Interns will gain practical experience in CBRE systems, culture, and facilities management.
  2. Rotational Assignments:
    • Exposure to Diverse Roles: Interns will be able to visit to a separate account or CBRE location for a period to experience a different business and grow their network.
    • Broader Perspective: This rotation will provide a comprehensive understanding of the FM industry and its various functions.
  3. Mentorship Program:
    • Dedicated Mentors: Each intern will be paired with a contract manager who will provide guidance, support, and career advice during weekly touch bases.
    • In-Person Learning: Interns will be required to report into the local CBRE office or a client site.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college degree-seeking program.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
  • Simple math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The maximum hourly Salary is $50/HR. The minimum hourly salary is $15/HR. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
