Our Melbourne Hotels & Leisure Valuations team is expanding. Due to our previous Assistant Valuer recently achieving CPV certification, we are now seeking the next emerging valuer to step into this unique, high-exposure asset class.

The Opportunity:

This part-time role is designed for current property students who can commit to three days per week in the office while completing their degree. It provides an exceptional pathway toward becoming a Certified Practising Valuer post-graduation. 

As part of a close-knit and highly specialised team, you will gain hands-on experience across:

  • Hotels, motels, pubs, serviced apartments and other specialised ongoing-concern assets
  • Exposure to premium and landmark hotel assets, including properties held by high-net-worth individuals
  • Understanding how to value both real property and the underlying trading business
  • Supporting work for major banks, private wealth clients, institutional groups and developers
  • Assisting with inspections, analysis, data compilation, valuation modelling and report preparation

About you:

  • Currently completing an API approved property degree and seeking a consistent part time (3day) role in valuations
  • Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills 
  • Professional, client ready presence and able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including high net worth clients 
  • Curious, analytical, proactive and eager to develop valuation capability 
  • Team focused, organised, reliable and committed to learning 
  • Genuine interest in certifying as a property valuer
