About the role

In line with CBRE’s global strategic focus on data superiority, CBRE is seeking an Asia Pacific Research Data Intelligence Manager capable of transforming commercial real estate data into information, insights and intelligence to inform business and client decision-making.

The successful applicant will lead the development of CBRE’s research data platform in Asia Pacific in collaboration with the company’s D&T enterprise teams and various other data-related initiatives. 

Areas of expertise associated with the role include database management, data automation, data visualisation and enterprise data platforms.


What You’ll Do:
  • Drive and manage data automation projects for CBRE’s subscription platform and bespoke client data requirements
  • Design data structures and workflows with CBRE’s local research teams in Asia Pacific
  • Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, ensure smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading in different dashboards
  • Transform commercial real estate data into information, insights and intelligence to inform business and client decision-making
  • Partner with global teams on project implementation, methodological alignment and data integrity 
  • Spearhead Generative AI initiatives to automate and optimize research processes, enhancing the speed and depth of market insight generation.
  • Integrate AI-driven tools and LLMs into existing data workflows to streamline unstructured data extraction.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent) with minimum 3 years experience as a data analyst/data engineer. Exposure in commercial real estate or a related industry is preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of data and analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, Phyton, Power Query, DAX and familiar with mapping platform (e.g. Argis, Mapbox) integration with dashboards
  • Experience with generative AI technologies and application (such as prompt engineering, RAG, or Agentic AI) to drive process innovation and operational efficiency
  • Experience with API integration and ODBC connectors for extracting data from various sources will be highly advantageous
  • Experience with cloud platform (either Azure, AWS or GCP) or candidates with Power BI certificate (DA-100 or PL-300) will be highly advantageous
  • Project management skills with previous experience of managing projects from inception to finalisation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
