About the Role

We are seeking an experienced APAC HSE Supervisor to act as the HSE Lead for our Thailand site. This is a site-based role dedicated to supporting one major facility, with direct reporting to the Senior HSE Manager at the APAC regional level.

The successful candidate will take ownership of all HSE operations at the site, ensure compliance with local regulations, drive safety programs, and align site performance with regional HSE standards and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Site Leadership (Thailand)

  • Serve as the primary HSE Lead for the Thailand site, overseeing daily HSE operations and ensuring compliance with Thai laws and corporate requirements.

  • Act as the main point of contact for Thai HSE regulatory authorities and maintain positive relationships with external agencies.

  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate updates in Thai HSE legislation.

Regional Alignment & Reporting

  • Report directly to the Senior HSE Manager, APAC, ensuring full alignment with regional HSE strategies, standards, and programs.

  • Support regional initiatives by deploying training, safety campaigns, audits, and continuous improvement activities at the Thailand site.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Implement, maintain, and improve the QHSE Management System, including policies, procedures, and operational controls.

  • Lead Contractor Safety Management and ensure all onsite contractors comply with HSE requirements.

  • Conduct and coordinate risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections.

  • Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

  • Ensure all incidents, near misses, emergencies, and environmental events are recorded in the Incident Management System.

  • Prepare monthly HSE performance reports for site and regional leadership.

  • Provide expert HSE guidance to site teams and ensure full legal compliance.

  • Support emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and crisis management activities.

  • Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong HSE culture across the site.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety, Environment, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, ideally in manufacturing, electronics, construction, or facility management.

  • Strong understanding of Thai HSE regulations; experience interacting with regulatory authorities preferred.

  • Auditor certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) are an advantage.

  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, OHST are preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills in Thai and English.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently at a single site while coordinating closely with regional leaders.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training or regional meetings (minimal).
