About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing maintenance & janitorial operations for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets.
What You will Do:
Serve as the day-to-day face of facilities for the client, delivering a polished, hospitality-grade experience across all building touchpoints
Own the front-of-house experience: lobby presentation, conference room readiness, pantry/break room standards, and common area aesthetics
Coordinate and oversee vendor partners to ensure consistent service delivery aligned with client expectations
Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Conduct regular floor walks and space inspections to proactively identify service gaps before occupants notice them
Support event logistics and conference services, ensuring seamless setup, breakdown, and AV readiness
Partner with engineering/maintenance teams on preventive maintenance schedules, minor repairs, and building system awareness
Track and report on KPIs related to occupant satisfaction, work order turnaround, and vendor performance
Anticipate client needs and propose service enhancements that elevate the workplace experience
Assist with budgeting, purchase orders, and invoice processing for facility-related expenses
Manage QHSE safety procedures for facilities.
Other duties may be assigned.
What You will Need:
3-5 years in facilities management, property management, hospitality operations, or a related client-facing environment. Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required; equivalent hospitality or facilities experience valued equally. Valid driver's license required. IFMA (FMP/CFM) or BOMI certification is a plus.
A hospitality mindset first: genuine passion for creating a welcoming, high-touch workplace experience
Strong vendor management skills with the ability to hold partners accountable to service-level agreements
Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging with tenants, executives, and service teams alike
Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, fire/life safety, electrical) at a conversational level; you understand the basics and know when to escalate
Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
