Events Electrical Supervisor

Location: Solihull (with flexibility to work across client venues)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Events Electrical Supervisor to join our Events Team, supporting the delivery of electrical design and stand wiring services for exhibitions and events where our client acts as the general contractor.

In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and coordination of temporary electrical mains, ensuring all installations are completed safely, professionally, and in line with industry standards. You will work closely with operations teams to deliver seamless event services and supervise a small team responsible for preparing and maintaining exhibition equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee installation of stand wiring and temporary mains for events and exhibitions.
  • Review exhibitor and organiser requirements to ensure accurate electrical planning and delivery.
  • Supervise and support the operational team, including training and development.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ensure all work complies with QHSE standards, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Promote a safe working environment in line with company and client policies.
  • Work flexibly across client venues as required.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • Experience in the exhibition industry (essential)
  • Forklift Truck Licence (required)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with CAD design plans
