About the Role:
As APAC Facilities Management Lead, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of manufacturing and commercial sites, prioritizing employee experience through top-tier soft services, including GxP cleaning and activities. You'll ensure operational excellence while maintaining strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and Q&C (Quality & Compliance) standards.
This includes managing catering, cleaning, security, and more, while driving efficiency and cost optimization. You'll lead teams, manage vendors, track performance, and contribute to regional business goals by creating a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Account & Stakeholder Management
- Fulfil all aspects of the Master Services Agreement including staffing, financials, service delivery, governance, KPIs, and client requirements.
- Serve as primary contact for escalations and manage strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly account reviews, manage change controls, and oversee scope of work adherence.
Operational & Financial Oversight
- Manage regional account programs ensuring safety/Quality and Compliance/regulation adherence.
- Oversee daily facility operations: maintenance/repairs/infrastructure/client inspections.
- Develop/manage budgets for facility ops/maintenance/capital projects; monitor spend/performance targets.
- Align expenditures to budget; manage P&L position including aging debt/reporting accuracy.
- Negotiate/manage contracts/vendors/suppliers/service providers—ensure best pricing/service levels.
Compliance, Health, Safety & Quality
- Act as primary HSE advisor for APAC manufacturing/commercial sites.
- Develop/implement/review health/safety policies/procedures/risk assessments/emergency plans regularly.
- Ensure facilities comply with all regulatory/legal standards & company QMS/GXP.
- Conduct site inspections/audits/investigations/remedial action tracking/completion.
- Support internal/external audits relating to facilities/QC/regulatory adherence.
- Ensure quality/compliance requirements are met per MSA/client scope.
Team Leadership & Innovation
- Supervise staff: monitor training/development/performance evaluations/recruitment/onboarding.
- Coordinate activities/work schedules/task assignments/cross-training/set deadlines/provide coaching.
- Lead direct reports/manage both in-house/outsource teams across multiple countries.
- Identify/solve complex technical or operational problems within office/manufacturing environments.
- Drive innovation in service/costs/processes aligned to annual activity calendar/objectives.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience) with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Facility & Compliance: Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of manufacturing and laboratory facility operations, GxP (GMP, GLP) guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Health & Safety: Experience and/or knowledge in health and safety policy development and implementation (desired).
- Leadership & Management: Experience in staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and retention strategies. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, communicate effectively, address complex issues, and drive operational improvements.
- Organizational & Analytical Skills: Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
