As a Mechanical Technical Services Lead you'll be at the helm, orchestrating the seamless functionality of critical infrastructure and empowering your team to reach new heights. 

This isn't just a job- it's a leadership opportunity where you will:

  • Inspire, mentor, and cultivate a team of top-tier engineering professionals. You'll master scheduling, assign impactful tasks, champion cross-training, and drive a culture of continuous improvement through robust performance evaluations and strategic recruitment
  • Take full ownership of facility operations and maintenance, ensuring every vital system – from fire/life safety and plumbing to HVAC and electrical, operates flawlessly. Your strategic input will shape capital budgets and continually refine our preventive maintenance programs, pushing the boundaries of efficiency.
  • Become the central nexus for collaboration, expertly coordinating with external contractors, tenant representatives, and internal teams. You'll cultivate pivotal relationships with clients, owners, and vendors, cementing CBRE's reputation for exceptional service.
  • Proactively dissect and conquer intricate technical challenges, staying ahead of emerging technology trends. You'll be instrumental in securing new management contracts, leveraging your expertise to expand our footprint.
  • Respond with agility and precision to emergency situations and evolving customer needs, demonstrating calm under pressure and swift problem-solving.
  • Lead by powerful example, embodying CBRE’s RISE values in every interaction. You’ll be a catalyst for agreement, influencing stakeholders and aligning diverse interests towards shared triumph.
What We're Looking for?
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, coupled with 3-5 years of direct, relevant experience that showcases your engineering and leadership capabilities. We also value an impressive track record built through a combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in staffing, selection, comprehensive training, dedicated coaching, transformative mentoring, and effective performance management and retention strategies.
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex information, articulate performance expectations with clarity, and navigate challenging conversations to achieve positive outcomes.
  • A natural ability to motivate, energise, and guide a team, significantly boosting quality, efficiency, and overall effectiveness within your discipline and department.
