As a CBRE Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a large campus of healthcare facilities in Round Rock, TX on the 2nd shift (3:00PM-11:30PM). You will ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your expertise will contribute directly to providing a secure and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
This dynamic position involves performing a broad range of maintenance, preventative care, and emergency repairs across various building systems, while consistently delivering professional customer service to campus occupants. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:- Perform diverse maintenance tasks across the healthcare campus, encompassing general repairs and specialized system upkeep.
- Conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance on critical building systems to ensure optimal performance and extend asset lifespan.
- Manage heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including filter changes and ensuring patient rooms maintain required temperature set points.
- Execute carpentry tasks such as painting, patching, drywall repair, and other general building maintenance as needed.
- Address plumbing issues, including unclogging toilets and repairing leaks.
- Perform electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting electrical issues, repairing ballasts, and replacing light bulbs.
- Actively review and manage assigned work orders, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track progress, completion, and documentation.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency maintenance requests.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients and campus occupants daily, providing clear communication and exceptional service.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5 years of proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, preferably within a healthcare or critical environment setting.
- Proficiency in a broad range of maintenance disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
