We are currently looking for an experienced Snr Facilities Coordinator to join our team to oversee and manage a commercial site for one of our multinational media corporation clients.
This role will report to the Senior Manager (APAC GRE) and work closely with the regional lead and key stakeholders to support the strategic goals and requirements of the local business. This role will also work closely with the global client teams to ensure alignment with international standards.
The Opportunity:
- Be the core pillar for the day-to-day operations of the site
- Collaborate closely with peers across multiple office locations – including joint ventures, subsidiaries, etc. – to ensure consistency of service delivery and appropriate approaches and outcomes, in alignment with company policies and SOPs
- Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors
- Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. Work closely with Security and Health & Safety teams, and the landlord to ensure site security, regulatory and statutory compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures, including regular audits, compliance checks and verification processes
- Communicate facilities-related information effectively to employees (e.g. fire drills, power shutdown)
- Supplier Performance & Cost Management – Monitor supplier KPIs, drive cost efficiencies, enforce SLAs, and ensure contract compliance in ANZ
- Maintain high level of rigor in following processes and procedures. This includes weekly meetings and reports to management, implementing new business guidelines and supporting other client initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager. The Company may, after fair and reasonable consultation, change your duties from time to time, for commercial or business reasons, without changing the nature of the position
- This is a full-time casual role, 12-month placement with potential to extend
Our ideal person is someone who:
- Previous experience in Facilities Management (ideally minimum 3-5 years’ experience) – working or having worked in a multinational corporate environment
- Is confident in stakeholder management and working collaboratively
- Is a critical thinker with ability to analyse issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and possess initiatives to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge in Health & Safety requirements
- Has strong skills in Microsoft Office and FM related software, knowledge of productivity applications such as ServiceNow, SAP is an advantage
