About The Role
Responsible for developing and managing the following finance functions, but is not limited to annual budget preparation, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting, invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, month end close and other special projects for a client supporting a client account leader.
What You Will Do
• Lead the planning and execution of budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and standard management reporting for both T&T and Client. Establish overall departmental priorities and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Improve and evolve existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
• Assist Executive Management with setting direction for the business. Review input from staff and business leaders to support the strategic planning process. Provide commentary and guidance to finance management and business leaders on strategic initiatives.
• Work closely with Operations to support initiatives including pricing, global reporting, and trategic analytics with a focus on improving margins and identifying growth opportunities.
• Ensure complete knowledge of monthly results. Report and present results to senior management.
• Manage and execute T&T and Client month-end close processes within communicated deadlines.
• Prepare and present client invoices aligned with the contract; track payment status.
• Manage special projects and prepare presentations for senior management.
• Facilitate review and approval of new business opportunities in accordance with company approval guidelines. Review business submissions and present to executive management.
• Assess staffing levels and skill sets to evaluate department needs. Identify and provide development opportunities for staff.
• Lead monthly client touch base calls and participate in weekly client capital governance meetings.
• Lead year-end 3rd party client accruals and monthly re-evaluations during Q1 of each new year.
• Provide supervision to one direct report.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business-related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Experience in construction and project management is a plus.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Communication Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, business partners, and management.
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
• Ability to effectively interact with management, employees, and auditors, and respond to sensitive issues.
• Ability to motivate and collaborate with business partners, key employees, senior management, and client groups on various projects.
Financial Knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
• Ability to review and analyze financial/business data and develop innovative solutions.
• Experience developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
• Ability to approve and oversee department budgets.
• Broad, in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Other Skills & Abilities
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired.
• Knowledge of the real estate services industry and terminology is helpful.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability.

Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
