About the Role:

As a Global Program Strategy Director, you’ll be responsible for growing programs works within an existing oil and gas client portfolio (i.e. HVAC, roofing, roadways, BMS) globally, inclusive of supporting/developing regional strategies, supporting capital plans, coordination with our FM teams, development/administration of Playbooks, development/administration of assurance governance, etc..


What You’ll Do:


  • Coordinate with our client, project and facility stakeholders to develop and administer a strategy related to program works.
  • Support our client with analytics and presentation materials/content to develop and present a business case within each of the AMS, EMEA and APAC regions to grow our programs Capital Plan, budget and associated project delivery team.
  • Develop, maintain and administer Playbooks and associated tools/templates for each key program (i.e. HVAC, roofs, roadways, etc.) covering individual program strategies (i.e. inventory, assessment, prioritization, costing, Capital Planning, etc.) and field delivery (i.e. scoping, design/vendor solutions, procurement strategies/processes, safety, execution, etc.).
  • Develop governance and administer practices to ensure effective and consistent utilization of Playbook and associated tools/templates across all programs.
  • Provide direct or indirect oversight, guidance and leadership to established regional Program Leads and their teams as needed to support overall expectations for program administration and delivery.
  • Facilitate regular meetings across AMS, EMEA and APAC regions to discuss and coordinate key topics and support consistent strategies and delivery of programs globally.
  • Become a subject matter expert on key program elements (i.e. roofing solutions, assessment strategies, etc.), with due diligence to confirm global variations.  Support Regional Program Leads with your expertise and encourage learnings across all regions to promote highly effective solutions globally.
  • Identify program/project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with Turner & Townsend values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
  • Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
  • Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline.


What You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Experience developing and managing a high-volume Program and/or Capital Plan, ideally across multiple countries and/or globally.
  • Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Playbook/process development and administration skills.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
