About the role

In this role you will assist in handling and supervising the performance of a national equity multifamily portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in property operations, construction, and optimizing financial performance with an emphasis on multifamily assets. You will collaborate with operating partners, the internal team, sponsors, property managers, clients, contractors, attorneys, title companies, architects, brokers, appraisers, and other deal-related parties.

What you’ll do

  • Provide direct support to Asset Managers to assist in executing optimal performance for an assigned portfolio of multifamily properties to maximize investor returns.
  • Prepare well-developed and accretive business plans, investment strategies, and proforma projections for each investment to enhance long term value.
  • Prepare various weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the portfolio and present results directly to the client.
  • Analyze and report on property performance by evaluating risks on P&L statements, development budgets, and loan covenant hurdles.
  • Loan compliance and hedging risk based on property’s performance.
  • Site Visits/ Travel – 20%.
  • Special projects as needed.

What you’ll need

  • Skilled at calculating sophisticated financial figures and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Advanced skill in Excel strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of private equity multifamily asset management strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be willing and able to work in Atlanta office 5 days a week.
