As a CBRE Facilities Locksmith, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and functionality of all locking mechanisms across our hospital campus in Temple, Tx, providing essential services to maintain a safe and accessible environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a professional with expertise in various lock systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.

• Respond promptly to work orders and emergency service requests related to locks and security hardware.
• Perform unlocking services, rekeying, and key duplication as needed for authorized personnel.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace various types of locks, including mechanical, electronic, and specialty locks.
• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative measures to ensure all locking systems within the facility are in optimal working condition.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of key systems, lock installations, and repairs.
• Provide locksmith support and assistance to other designated sites within the Temple area as required.
• Interact professionally and courteously with clients, staff, and visitors, addressing their lock-related needs and concerns effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with at least 3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Proven experience as a locksmith, preferably within a commercial or institutional setting.
• Proficiency in the installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of locking devices and key systems.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
