About the Role:
As a CBRE Consulting Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of workplace consulting, mentoring team members, and supporting business development.
This job is part of the Client Consulting function. They are responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a project team to successfully deliver complex, client-facing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline, and achieving high client satisfaction.
- Facilitate impactful senior-level engagements with key stakeholders and cultivate strong, trusted client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and strategic advisor.
- Mentor and actively develop the professional growth of junior team members, providing guidance, constructive feedback, and opportunities for skill enhancement and career progression.
- Conduct thorough research and rigorous analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of findings to support strategic insights.
- Develop compelling and actionable strategic recommendations, presenting findings clearly to senior leaders and effectively building consensus to drive organizational change.
- Architect comprehensive change management strategies and implementation plans, guiding organizations through transitions and ensuring successful adoption of new initiatives.
- Participate actively in business development activities, including crafting and delivering persuasive client presentations, conducting diagnostic assessments, and preparing compelling proposals to secure new engagements.
- Travel frequently to client sites across the U.S., engaging directly with stakeholders and project teams (with travel potentially reaching up to 50% during peak project periods).
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values and influencing senior-level stakeholders to adopt new perspectives.
- Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 7+ years of relevant experience in the areas of real estate, architecture, design, or consulting. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Deep expertise and understanding of workplace strategy principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, encompassing effective conflict resolution, team motivation, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and client-centric work ethic, committed to delivering outstanding service and driving impactful outcomes.
- Driven by a passion for strategic and innovative problem-solving, consistently seeking creative solutions to complex challenges.
- Highly developed quantitative and analytical skills, complemented by meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in extracting meaningful insights from large datasets and translating complex information into compelling, actionable findings.
- Exceptional ability to clearly present and articulate complex ideas, analyses, and recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, with a keen ability to listen actively and convey information effectively.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, thrives in ambiguous environments, and confidently navigates sophisticated challenges.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed team environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Prior experience with design and analysis software such as Tableau, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, and/or Revit is highly preferred.
- Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum compensation for the Consulting Senior Manager position is $135,000 per year and the maximum salary for the position is $165,000 per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
