About the role:
As a Business Unit Leader, you will be at the forefront of our success, leading the day-to-day operations and driving strategic growth for the business unit. Reporting into the Divisional Managing Director, based in Ireland, you will have full empowerment to run and lead the business success as your own.

What you will do:
  • Lead growth by expanding the customer base and market share in facilities management industry.
  • Oversee business unit operations, financials, compliance, and service delivery whilst ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, focusing on improvement, collaboration and talent succession.
  • Build authentic client relationships to meet and exceed their needs.
  • Promote a culture of quality and safety across all activities.
  • Create business plans aligned with market trends; manage tender bids, sales pipelines, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and enhance processes for quality and safety.
  • Achieve financial targets for revenue, profit, and working capital.
  • Formulates business and sales plans in response to anticipated economic, technological and market trends.
  • Continually focuses on developing the business through building customer relationships and ensuring that resources are prepared to manage this growth i.e. a robust but realistic succession plan is in place.
  • Identifies tracks and influences key KPI and financial performance metrics to deliver required performance levels.

What we need:
  • Leadership experience managing a P&L of 15 million and above, sustainable growth with proven track record of client retention, development and performance.
  • Experience in a face paced environment (start-up) or have run your own business in the facilities management/maintenance industry (or similar).
  • Customer led experience and the skills to build authentic relationships.
  • Leading a team to be fully accountable for their goals, KPIs and performance.
  • Extensive experience in mobilising new hard services management contracts through to implementation.
