Job Title – Banking Analyst
About the Role:
The Banking Analyst, positioned within the Global Wire Payment Team, will be responsible for executing global payments across multiple systems and banking platforms. The primary objective of this role is to effectively manage Accounts Payables–related matters and independently lead communication with Global Teams within CBRE as well as external banking partners in order to resolve issues efficiently and ensure seamless payment operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute and process payments across multiple banking platforms with full accuracy and compliance.
- Perform analysis and investigation of issues related to outgoing and incoming transfers, including payment status inquiries, returned or held payments, and other transaction irregularities.
- Prepare daily reports and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of all reporting outputs.
- Ensure that issues raised by the Business and Finance teams are thoroughly analysed and resolved within agreed timelines.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term working relationships with client and stakeholders.
- Escalate cases in a timely manner, following the established escalation path and the Contact Matrix.
- Support and implement process improvement initiatives and participate in related projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business continuity and team objectives.
- Maintain constant cooperation with Business, Banks, Treasury, Accounts Payable teams, as well as OTC and R2R functions to ensure smooth end to end process execution.
- Any other duty as required by the line manager.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum of 4-5 years in PTP.
- Excellent communication skills (facilitation and presentation skills a must).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in customer service will be an asset; good understanding of customer service principles and practices; ability to handle difficult situations.
- Ability to drive, analyse and implement process improvements.
- Pro-active approach, willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.
