Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CBRE Ireland’s Sustainability Team. You will work alongside the Head of Sustainability to support the Sustainability Team’s consultancy work and the sustainability commitments of CBRE Ireland


Key Responsibilities

      Sustainability consultancy

o    Produce reports providing advice to clients and project teams. 

o    Develop and share strategies for improving sustainability projects. 

o    Knowledge of lifecycle assessments and tools. 

o    Review documentation provided by project teams, assess this against the project’s targets and provide feedback.

o    Communicate sustainability requirements to our team members. 

o    Attend site visits to review progress against sustainability / wellness targets. 

o    Review the performance of designated projects and update the team’s project tracker with progress and financial information. 

o    Engage with skills networks to exchange best practice and processes. 

o    Attend and contribute to team meetings. 

      Corporate ESG

o    Support the delivery of CBRE Ireland’s ESG objectives including:

§  Tracking towards targets

§  Delivery workplace sustainability initiatives

      Business development

o   Track business development opportunities and plan communications

o   Support to deliver proposals and presentations

      Administration

o   Administration support to the Head of Sustainability including

§  Scheduling

§  Document control

      Ad hoc:

o   Any other duties, as appropriate, that come up from time to time.


Person Specification/Requirements

      Interest in sustainability and property

      Excellent interpersonal skills

      Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met

      Maintains a positive attitude towards routine tasks

      Accurate and exceptional attention to detail

      Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team

      Flexible approach to work

      Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion

      Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and clients

      Willingness to learn and develop sustainability skills

      Calm under pressure

      Excellent IT skills (Word, MS Outlook, PowerPoint, advanced Excel skills)

      Experience with sustainability rating tools (LEED, BRREAM)
