JOB SUMMARY:

Performs general 52 –week preventive maintenance including all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, as well as assists in Building Monitoring System (BMS), security access control system (Prowatch), vault alarm responses, and management of suppliers, vendors, mobile Technician.  Knowledge in the operations and function of Computer Room Air-Con (CRAC) system, HVAC, UPS, Alarm System.  Perform on-call emergency response 24X7 and able to work evening/night shift/weekend (if require) to support Facilities Engineer/Coordinator. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general and manage preventive maintenance, site surveys, replacement of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Assists with equipment inventory, repairs and overhaul.
  • Respond to customer requests, support for system checks and follow specific instructions.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, as-built and other document to support planning design and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Oversees / manage vendors on facility Planned Preventive Maintenance.
  • Perform emergency response and equipment repair.
  • Monitor and alert on the critical equipments and be responsible for alarm response 24X7.

§  Support Facilities Engineer/Coordinator to review the Service Reports from vendors/contractors after jobs completion

§  Assist and support Facilities Engineer/Coordinator in planning and manage the day-to-day operations to meet customer requests/expectation and SLA effectively.

§  Monitor working performance of vendors/contractors, provide feedback to him (if needed) and report to Facilities Engineer/Coordinator if any issue found

§  Backfill for Facilities Engineer/Coordinator during leave or absence.

§  Perform other duties designed by Facilities Engineer/Coordinator.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be able to manage and control vendors to follow to client standard and SLA.
  • Take full responsibilities on own duty, be discipline and punctual.

             

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
  • Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

  • se personal computer on the basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and familiarity with the Internet.
  • Understand standard basic of English.
  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Able to interact with clients, visitors and vendors with self-confidence.

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to clients, co-workers and supervisor.
