An exciting opening has become available for a candidate with retail leasing experience to join the Melbourne Retail Centre Leasing team. Forming an integral part of this experienced, established team of professionals, this client facing role will see you carrying out a broad range of duties ensuring that no one day is the same.

Here’s a snapshot of your day;

Negotiate lease terms and conditions
Coordination and conjunct with Owner’s goals and objectives
Reducing tenant vacancies and increasing Owner’s net profit income
Implement advanced leasing strategies to source new retailers, clients and listings utilising activities such as cold calling, mail-outs, property inspections and appraisals, attending networking functions, and proactively seeking to increase personal knowledge of the market, focusing on trends and potential opportunities
To establish and operate the identification, scoping and listing systems and processes required to consolidate a profitable business in the sector
Conduct professional, high standard property marketing campaigns from marketing submissions, through formal leasing process to completion

Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful; 

Strong knowledge of the Melbourne Retail market;
Demonstrated experience in effective negotiation skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Strong organizational ability to manage multiple projects and clients 
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients 
Ability to effectively present information.
Knowledge of property lease contract structures and other elements related to the lease agreements;
Demonstrable confidence and maturity in communication;
Strong attention to detail;
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
