CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We have an opportunity for an experienced Scum Master to join our new Global-Local platform team within Product & engineering GWS Local Digital & Technology. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and agile leadership of multiple onshore and offshore development teams as well as key partners providing engineering services.  This new capability will be responsible for building a world-class technology stack for the new Global Local business. This critical customer focused product-line will drive growth, revenue and deliver a first-class customer experience.

As a natural agile engineering leader who is focused on results and performance, the successful candidate will ensure that their engineering teams always perform at the highest levels and to the highest standards. The scrum master will be responsible for supporting and promoting the development team, clearing blockers where necessary and will support the product owner to ensure that the teams are delivering to the business requirements. Through structured processes and a metric-led approach to monitoring output performance, the Scrum master will always find ways to drive better performance and quality of deliverables through continuous improvements.

Role Summary: 

Work with technology leaders to stand-up new team globally, assist with staffing & partner selection
Provide people and agile process leadership, and drive others against a clearly defined roadmap
Ensure the agile methodology is meticulously and rigorously followed
Coach the team towards self-organisation, accelerated release cadence and customer focus
Mentor and develop junior members of the team
Communicate the roadmap and release commitments to the technical team 
Act as the buffer and bridge between product managers, owners, and the delivery team
Prioritise and optimise the product backlog with both the product manager and lead-engineer
Ensure the team’s commitment and participation in all agile ceremonies 
Participate and support effective user story development with the product owner and lead-engineer
Deliver regular sprint and release reporting to the management team
Identify opportunities to deliver greater visibility of delivery performance through new analytics 
Work with the product owner, engineering lead and stakeholders to capture new requirements

Experience Required: 

University Graduate with a relevant degree within a computational, business or science discipline
Certified Scum Master (an active accreditation)
Strong people skills with the ability to forge effective working relationships
Proven ability to achieve technology goals and objectives
Solid track record in building high performing delivery teams
Deep and broad understanding of both on-prem. and cloud architectures 
Excellent people and team leadership skills
Passionate technologist with strong commercial awareness 
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Demonstrable ability to deliver continuous improvement
Agile methodology and digital product evangelist
Delivery of products into both on-prem and cloud architecture
5+ Years working within an agile development methodology
5+ Years as a Scrum Master and/or technical lead role
Ability to design solutions with an efficient user experience
Good working knowledge of mobile application and web development 
Highly proficient in all MS Office products
