The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is accountable for candidate sourcing and engagement activity across CBRE Business Lines. Reporting to the Talent Sourcing Manager and working within a flexible structure alongside Talent Acquisition (TA) Partners to deliver recruitment activity to a successful conclusion. 

The TA Sourcing Specialist will proactively leverage their expertise in the identification and research, of talent, creating market maps and talent pipelines, for future requirements against workforce plans; partnering closely with our TA Partners to meet the current and future hiring needs of the organization.  

Responsible for providing a high-level candidate experience and customer satisfaction, supporting CBRE diversity equity and inclusion initiatives up to day 1, shortlisting, providing candidate feedback, offer negotiation and contract initiation.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner closely with the TA Sourcing Manager and TA Partners to understand targeted talent functions and skills CBRE seek and form sourcing strategies to identify and source talent accordingly 
  • Provide candidate feedback, offer negotiation support as directed and contract initiation in a way that strengthens and conveys a positive CBRE employer brand 
  • Promotes CBRE employer brand initiatives to attract diverse talent, actively participating across the TA team ensuring best practice is shared and implemented 
  • Work with TA Partners to understand job requirements to be able to source suitable candidates from various job boards and databases including Talent Source 
  • Act as the candidate’s liaison throughout the hiring process ensuring a positive experience up to day 1 
  • Develop excellent relationships across the wider TA team, providing guidance on candidate market activities and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the recruitment process 
  • Working in collaboration with other members of the Talent Acquisition and People team to ensure the delivery of high-quality recruits against requirements from diverse pools of candidates 
  • Build Talent Pipelines, responsible for fulfilling recruitment requirements by building an effective diverse talent pool of potential candidates 
  • Competitor analysis and research including documentation and presentation of information sharing trends and insights 
  • Update ATS and other reporting systems to enable weekly and monthly TA activity reports 
  • Work collaboratively across the team to improve talent acquisition by identifying and sharing key talent 
  • Establish networks and referral sources in the segments that you are sourcing for  
  • Ensures adherence to compliance and standard operating procedures  
  • Work with agreed Recruitment Agency PSL and manage 3rd party TA suppliers 
  • Other duties as directed by the TA Sourcing Manager   
  • Managing all recruitment invoices and recruitment coordination

Person Specification/Requirements 

  • Sourcing experience, from an internal or agency environment 
  • Driven to deliver – understands business challenges and delivers successful outcomes. This will require strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively 
  • Able to work in a matrix organisation, prioritising, and effectively communicating with key stakeholders 
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Experienced in the use of resourcing technologies and social networking to build candidate/talent pools and needle-in-a-haystack searches - ATS expertise, varied search and sourcing methods, LinkedIn, talent pooling and market mapping  
  • Establish rapport quickly with candidates, managers, and team members. Work collaboratively with team, wider HR, and the business to deliver successful outcomes
  • Experience recruiting in Real Estate or Financial Services would be an advantage 
  • Strong commercial acumen, sense of urgency and business sense 
  • A passion for Diversity Equity and Inclusion in all approaches 
  • A passion for recruitment and service delivery  
  • Expert in leveraging innovative search techniques, advanced Boolean and range of search tools  
  • Experience handling high mandate volumes with demonstrated urgency 
  • Excellent networking and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Solutions focused, proactive team player, organized and efficient 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint functions) 
  • Business or HR related Qualifications highly regarded.
