Purpose of the role:

Responsible in providing support to the TR team / HR managers in developing, implementing, and executing compensation and benefits programs that support business objectives. Provides consultative, analytical, and technical support in compensation & benefits service delivery. The analyst will support the operation of Compensation and Benefits processes in the Total Rewards (TR) portfolio and contribute extensively data preparation.

What to expects on the role:
  • Serves as a point of contact to the HR team / business stakeholders to provide advice, direction and guidance including systems support on broadly defined compensation and benefits matters. Includes participating in providing updates / training on compensation and benefits products and processes and systems / data training to users. 
  • Ensure that the governance and administration of compensation, health and welfare benefit plans are in accordance with local country laws, including the interpretation of compensation & benefit programs and procedures to stakeholders.  Assists with writing communications to employees, technical plan documents and summary plan descriptions. 
  • Manages the flow of all assigned data files and reports, ensures files are sent, received and loaded in a timely basis / coordinates with internal HRIS/IT/Finance contacts and external vendors - where applicable. Assist to ensure accurate and efficient compensation and benefits system interfaces with trouble shooting for TR proprietary systems for all TR products.     
  • Prepares premium reconciliation and check requests for monthly or adhoc reports on all elements of incumbent compensation and benefits data to support TR programs.  
  • Prepares regular compensation and benefit reports extracting data from the database (s) / identify and resolve data / system discrepancies. Includes the verification of sources of data to ensure data integrity, quality and compliance. Escalate accordingly for data / systems for rectification within the TR team / organization and be resourceful in working on solutions / rectification with relevant parties in the organization.   
  • Where required, assist in the planning and execution of compensation and benefits TR products/projects requiring robust data and impact analyses across all service and business lines. 
  • Recommends, conducts, and participates in assigned salary surveys in order to understand competitive compensation and benefits levels in the organization. Maintain an inventory of market data for all incumbents in the organization and assist in the provision of market data to HR Managers / Business. Completes job evaluation studies and ensures that job descriptions on file are current, complete, and accurate. 
  • Assist in the data collation and initial preparation of market assessment analyses to support off-cycles for benchmarking, promotions, transfers etc.  
  • Assures through audits, analysis and reports, that all organization compensation and benefits programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations in the respective locations in the region. 
  • Assist in the implementation, execution and communication of compensation and benefits administration programs. 
  • Maintain an inventory of reports, products, data and SOPs for reference with the TR team and HR / Business users.  
  • Supports compliance with applicable regulations by monitoring new requirements and recommending process change. 
  • Participates in the overall human resources information system (HRIS) meetings / identify, suggest, and implement ongoing process improvements for TR systems.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employee

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university and 2 to 5 years of experience. Must have Compensation & benefits/rewards background 
APAC/Regional support will be an added advantage

Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. 

Financial Knowledge

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. 

Reasoning Ability
Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. 

Other Skills and Abilities
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office- Excel. (data populations, data migration, re-organize involving formulas, pivot table, v-look up etc
Extensive knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefit programs, including federal and state law.
Strong business stakeholders skills
