The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:  

Coordinate with Local Market Area (LMA) leaders and brokers. Assemble a multi-function pursuit team (when needed) for each pursuit

Lead the development of a tailored “win strategy” for each pursuit

Manage the creation of proposals, presentations and other client-facing materials with the pursuit team with support from national/local marketing professionals.

Participate in key client meetings and lead presentation preparation sessions.

Participate in pricing and contract negotiations.

Present at key regional/national meetings on trends in Workplace, Design, and Occupancy catered to industries, geographies, etc.

Track all activity using a sales management database.

Act as a Customer Relationship Manager for large, multi-service assignments.

Ensure that end-to-end delivery of services achieve the stated client objectives.

Complete post-mortems to identify critical success factors in pursuits and projects and use data to consistently strengthen and improve pursuit strategies.

Develop strong relationships with project teams delivering the services across integrated Space Enablement projects.

Other duties may be assigned.


May provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

7+ years of credible, related work experience in the field of real estate, architecture, design, occupancy management or consulting

Undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred)

Strong client-service oriented work ethic driven by a desire to act

Passion for strategic and creative problem solving

Exceptional ability to present and articulate ideas

Outstanding listening, written and oral communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills

Intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity and complex challenges

Highly proficient in MS Office Suite of Product


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.


Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.


Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.


Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Products.
