Community Hosts are a high-touch Workplace Experience role providing proactive service to foster the Client's employee engagement and improve productivity and experience. This position is focused on fostering collaboration, connectivity and well-being within the community. 

The Community Host is responsible in delivering the promise of “Twice the Experience”. They are employee and client experience curators, creating moments of delight and care through memorable, anticipatory, and personalized human interactions. They support the planning of employee engagement event & activities, leveraging F&B to curate experiences & entertainment. Serves as point of contact for employee feedback of in-house initiatives. Executing strategies for effective communications with community members, maintaining and creating high quality relationships with employees.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of working at the Front of House within 5* Hotel or Airline industry
  • Corporate hospitality experience desired
  • Food, beverage, and corporate catering experience required
  • Event organization experience required
  • Change management experience is desired
  • Experience of working within a demanding fast paced environment involving high levels of customer care
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS applications

Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
Requires basic analytical skills.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook,
etc. Comfortable with and embracing of new technologies and digital tools, such as Apps, databases/dashboards, work order
management, social networking, cloud technologies, handheld mobile technologies and applications.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ownership of space, ensuring employee engagement, providing end user support (human engagement)
  • Ensures regular inspection of floors, identifying and reporting equipment, furniture and fixture rectification works via the FM
  • team
  • Supports the end-user experience in any Activity-Based Working (ABW) environment, supporting & owning its expected
  • outcomes
  • Organize and promote wellness activities
  • Provide support and daily inspection of F&B spaces and dining options
  • Activating spaces, supporting to organize and host events, lunch & learn sessions, happy hours, and hobby clubs 
  • Delivery of home working experience activities and initiatives
  • Ensure locker allocation, supporting the business unit with the ongoing management model
  • Main point of contact for end-user feedback and activity engagements
  • Provide new joiner welcome and provide orientation tours
  • Activate space promote wellbeing, fitness, and recreation agenda with activities such as massage, yoga, seminars etc
  • Support on the delivery of Food & Beverage and corporate catering
  • Work with F&B supply partners in curating Food & Beverage choices based on feedback from staff
  • Assist and resolve home working enquires
  • Support home & hybrid worker experience
  • Responsible for initiatives and programs to curate an engaging workplace and employee experience
  • Support with organizing external party operated community events
  • Manage Community Walls
  • Gather like-minded employees together and host club events
  • Responsible in managing expected outcomes based on Schedule 8 of the MSA, namely.
