As an Experience Expert, you are part of the CBRE team that works for our client Deloitte, and you work at location “The Edge” at Amsterdam Zuidas.  Do you like to be the point of contact for both guests and colleagues and to ensure a hospitable and safe working environment?

What are you going to do?

As an Experience Expert you are the face for our joint services.  You play an important role as a host(ess) on the office floors, you are the first point of contact for all questions regarding facilities that our client and their guests may have, but you can also help them further within their internal organization.  You give new employees of the client a warm welcome and guide them around the building.

In the meeting rooms and the new meeting concepts, you can be found to help with questions or challenges with, for example, audio visual resources.  You register no-shows and ensure that meeting rooms are not used without a reservation. 

You ensure a safe working environment, you also address the client if they do not adhere to the house rules, such as secure computer use and the handling of confidential papers and in addition, in the role of emergency response officer, you are part of the Calamities team at The Edge.

You ensure that the pantries are always clean, and the coffee machine is always filled.  You have an observing role in the services provided by our supply partners, so that the rooms remain clean and tidy, everything is replenished in time and minor technical repairs are dealt with immediately.  You support additional requests, small relocations and can act in a problem-solving way to unexpected situations.

You are part of the CBRE team that consists of: reservation and event employees, colleagues from the mailroom, expedition and service shop, host(ess), service employees, facility coordinators and a Facility Manager.

It is important that you are an enthusiastic “self starter” who can set priorities and work in a solution-orientated way.  You always have a service-oriented attitude!

Your most important tasks are:

  • Host(ess) for new and existing employees and visitors of the client.
  • The eyes and ears for our joint services.
  • Identifying and immediately solving unsafe or unexpected situations.
  • Emergency response officer on the assigned floor, where you have a coordinating role in the event of a calamity.
  • Order and tidiness on the assigned office floors, so that the most pleasant working environment is always offered.

  • You are a star at multitasking.  You take up tasks proactively and quickly and you delegate tasks to suppliers.
  • You work independently and are highly visible on the office floor.
  • You keep an overview and monitor the processes, so that everything runs smoothly and that the clients and colleagues are satisfied.

What do you need to get started as an Experience Expert?

  • You have gained experience in a similar environment.
  • You are used to working in an international environment.
  • Experience with office programmes is desirable.
  • You can communicate effectively.
  • In addition to the Dutch language, you also have a good command of the English language.
