The Extended Reality Solutions (XRS) team provides  business solutions for CBRE's employees and solutions for clients via next generation augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) technology.


The AR/VR Training Lead is focused on developing and delivering training for XRS hardware and software product training globally. Leverages a strong understanding of CBRE ecosystem along with technical expertise of the XRS platform to provide the business with direct guidance, documentation and learning around how to use the XRS tools to perform their job more effectively.


This role is accountable for ensuring that the end user is fully prepared and capable in their roles through the use of clear work instruction via virtual or live-virtual connection in using the AR/VR tools. This enables the end user to ultimately deliver superior outcomes to clients.




Creates instructional training content based on specific audience needs including XRS content authoring. Writes and edits content materials including, but not limited to, playbooks, product demonstrations, slide presentations, job aids, workbooks, virtual classroom facilitator guides, videos and interactive modules as needed.


Develops, documents and implements  communications and training roll-out plans for XRS tools.


Responsible for training potential instructors or subject matter experts to enable them to train other people.


Proactively seeks out business use cases, provides solutions around how AR/VR technology can be leveraged and facilities end-to-end instruction on using the AR/VR applications.


Sets up and governs a self-service training portal. Actively develops governance for programs in place and suggests and implements improvements to existing trainings and XRS processes. Tests and refines the learning experience to improve real world outcomes.


Partners with Account Teams to answer end-user questions.


Implements measures of learning effectiveness that can best evaluate the results of training and learning programs designed and conducted.




Collaborates with the XRS team, key stakeholders and business managers across the organization to deliver and consult on learning experiences. Conducts discovery calls and assists in identifying goals and executing on instructional content delivery.


Acts as a liaison between business and technology areas, identifying needs and delivering on training as appropriate. Serves as liaison to 3rd party vendors.


Analyzes business and user need and documents requirements with the minimal guidance from the XRS program leads.


Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in business or related field and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience (equivalent work experience = 2 years' experience for every year of higher-level education).


Prior experience in learning product/training development, product management, instructional design, business training, customer success, engagement management or related experience is highly desired.


Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, design or learning/training platforms preferred.


Must be flexible in work assignments and able/willing to apply instructional design to various learning situations.


Must be passionate about disruptive technologies, understand consumer behavior - ideally with exposure to AR/VR, and willing to be part of the next breakthrough in human communication.


Must be organized, conscientious, and pay strong attention to detail.
