About the Role
The CBRE HSE for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) is responsible for overseeing the duties assigned to the CBRE HSE Teams that work in the Governance, Risk and Compliance framework on a key technology client account. This person supports the client’s Global HSE GRC Program by ensuring that tasks are completed that cover multiple work streams to deliver various cross-functional HSE projects with a focus on regulatory program compliance, risk and global implementation. The HSE Manager consults and communicates with department leadership and stakeholders, serves as the senior regulatory content expert as well as advises the client on programs development, implementation and ensures quality deliverables. The HSE Manager has a broad understanding of HSE related regulations and referenced standards, and understands the nuances for their implementation.
This is not a remote position and requires someone based in one of the advertised job locations.
What You'll Do
- Manages cross functional team of HSE, Emergency Management and Risk professionals and drives interdepartmental collaboration and alignment.
- Assists and advises in Global HSE initiatives to include program development such as audits and assessments, training, emergency management and management system elements.
- Acts as a global resource to team members as a regulatory compliance subject matter expert. Researches global regulations and advises team members on implementation strategies.
- Understands, documents, and performs regulatory research in support of program compliance and consistent implementation. Works with external and internal stakeholders to ensure effective program functionality.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to execute, review and/or revise document content to meet regulatory or organizational needs.
- Drives strategic and analytical initiatives to improve internal training processes and global training delivery. Develops creative strategies to design, plan, and execute scalable HSE training in alignment with Global HSE programs.
- Collaborates with the team to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of content before publishing while maintaining a relevant online course catalog.
- Participates in audits and assessments and serves as a subject matter expert for their completion.
- Promotes safety consciousness among team, partners, stakeholders, and account employees by providing accurate and informative data, participating in program awareness opportunities, giving timely feedback on program questions, and visibly supporting the overall HSE program(s).

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in HSE or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of related experience is preferred.
- CSP or other relevant certification preferred.
- Broad demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety, and environmental regulations and application in program drafting, editing, and implementation is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred.
- Global HSE program experience is a plus.
- Experience with HSE Management Systems preferred.
- Experience in development and administration of the training curriculum using a learning management system is preferred.

The minimum salary for the HSE Manager - Compliance position is $110,330 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Manager - Compliance position is $149,270 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
