Surveying Executive



Forming a part of the Asset Services division, a new opportunity has arisen within the Asset Management department as a Surveying Executive, supporting the team across a wide variety of properties for several key clients. This team is an expanding service line working across all commercial sectors and UK geographies.

Key Responsibilities

The role will be wide ranging and will provide excellent development opportunities for the successful candidate. The following tasks will be the core responsibilities. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below it is anticipated that the role will encompass similar additional tasks specific to each client you may support:

·     Coordinating and collating bespoke monthly/quarterly/annual reports for clients, prepared by the asset management team

·     Creation and recording of purchase orders for revenue expenditure

·     Logging, recording, coding, and submitting invoices for payment on client hosted systems

·     Uploading and monitoring of job cost/expenditure budgets on client hosted systems

·     Uploading annual business plans onto client hosted systems

·     Quarterly Asset Management Fee billing coordination

·     Ownership of internal workflow trackers

·     Completing TT payment forms

·     Coordination and uploading of asset cash flow budgets/forecasts/reports

·     Completing new vendor forms and maintaining associated databases/spreadsheets

·     Supporting in the preparation of completion statements

·     Collation and recording of contractor/supplier appointments

·     Running and collating key tenancy/lease data reports on a monthly and ad hoc basis

·     General data collection and inputting activities

·     Liaising with client/supplier/consultant administration teams

·     Presentation/ Power point resource for internal use and client presentations

·     Assisting with information flows between stakeholders

·     Attendance and recording of minutes at specific asset days/meetings

·     Ad hoc administrative duties as and when they arise

Person Specification

·     Motivated and tenacious

·     Strong administrative skills

·     Strong interpersonal skills

·     Good organisational skills with the ability to operate independently under a broad direction

·     Good communication skills and experience in building relationships with key business stakeholders

·     Good MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

·     Task oriented and self-motivated, with ability to prioritise issues

·     Previous experience working within the property industry would be advantageous but not essential

·     Able to work as part of a team, supporting other team members and recognising the work of others
