CBRE Site Selection & Incentives Advisory

At CBRE, our Location Incentives team assists clients in reducing costs associated with company expansions, consolidations, or relocations by securing federal, state, local and other economic development incentives. Our industry-leading proprietary technology ensures a comprehensive approach towards site selection that mitigates risk and our collective experience in structuring incentives is unmatched in the industry. Our clients represent all industry sectors, ranging in size from Fortune 10 corporations to private owners, occupiers, and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal and External Stakeholder Engagement

Analyst will support the team and clients by acting as a point of contact for back-end monitoring of incentives deals. This role will manage service after sale and track agreements to ensure clients recoup the value of incentives. The ability to communicate and coordinate across multiple stakeholders is essential to this role.

Team Support

Analyst will support the administration of economic incentives. This role is an integral part of providing exceptional service to our clients. As companies explore options to make investment decisions there may be opportunities to identify economic incentives to offset project costs and thus there are compliance requirements that accompany such awards.

Deliverables and Reporting

The Analyst will work to identify, monitor, and assist with associated reporting for these incentives as well as advising clients important reporting milestones. Analyst will prepare final deliverables and compliance playbooks for clients. This role will also create financial models to support team and update reporting efficiency, design, and technology utilizing CBRE’s proprietary software. This individual will monitor new legislation impacting incentives and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

        Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/accounting or similar field

        1-2 years of experience, preferably in accounting/tax/real estate company
