The Role: Property / Stock Associate, Retail Leasing

The Location: Hong Kong

The Team/ The Business: You will be working alongside with a team of highly collaborative and supportive colleagues in delivering outstanding service to our clients, understanding their land use needs and provide the right solution by leveraging our industry leading platform.

What’s in it for you:  Research is an important support function in all agency departments, the speed and accuracy of research work affect the efficiency and quality of service that we provide clients.  You will be the backbone of the team -, and carrying out research on the property listing, keeping the team up to date with current rental and transaction in the market, maintaining and managing a system of current and property records to support the team generate business, achieve target and objectives. 

What you will be working on:
  • To check all relevant local newspapers, press and media for new properties and enter the information into the databases.
  • To increase the number of property listings by carrying out research work.  This includes the following activities: research on landlords and tenants (including telephone enquiries), researching through company reports, sifting through past CBRE records from the brochure archive, conducting searches in the Company Registry and the Land Registry and developing business contacts.
  • To update records and databases on a daily basis.  This includes keeping up to date all building files, premises plans and location plans in respect of tenant occupation.
  • To keep and maintain records of floor plans and brochures of properties.
  • To print out the listings as required by the Department Head or the Management.
  • To assist team members with appointments, viewings or when a property requires locating.
  • To remove records from the active stock list when instructed by the Department Head or Department executives, after having confirmed the sale price/rental and completion/lease commencement date and entered these on the records. To re-file these records on the maintenance/bring forward database.
  • To work as part of a cohesive team within the Department and to co-operate with members of other departments when appropriate, in all matters relating to the running of the Department.
  • To carry out any other assignments as directed by the Department Head or the Management.

You are someone with: 
  • Degree holder in business related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the Real Estate sector, ideally working in a real estate service capacity. 
  • Good computer and information technology skills with hands-on experience in a variety of applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Conscientious and attentive to detail, diligent in keeping filing systems and databases of property listings up to date.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Cantonese. Ability to speak fluent Mandarin will be a plus.
  • An organized mindset and a team player. You are self-motivated and always proactive in getting things done
  • An appetite for taking on challenges and strong hunger for success
