Vibrant Retail Centre in Cairns

Due to a new appointment, CBRE is seeking an astute Centre Manager or experienced Retail Property Manager ready for the next step in their career to join our Property Management business managing a large retail shopping centre. The Centre Manager will be responsible for the effective management and performance of the Centre encompassing all facets of retail management and client service delivery. 

Here’s a snapshot of your day;

  • Oversee property management and facilities management operations for the retail portfolio
  • Liaise with the owner and tenants, regarding all aspects of management of the centre including lease administration, policies/procedures relating to occupancy, CAPEX & OPEX works, service contracts and inspections
  • Deliver efficient and cost-effective management of the allocated portfolio
  • Directly liaise with owners, occupiers, and operational personnel
  • Manage policies and procedures in line with owner objectives, investment strategies and occupier requirements
  • Prepare detailed cash flow budget covering all items of income and expenditure including analysis and forecasting of retail performance
  • Monitor financial transactions relative to lease and contractual obligations
  • Manage lease compliance by all tenants and owners.

  • Extensive Property Management experience within a retail environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously 
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly and manage client expectations
  • Advanced communication skills and a proactive and professional approach
