Reporting to the APAC Project Execution Lead the successful candidate will be responsible for the programme management of multiple diverse real estate projects across the APAC region at any one time. The role entails total ultimate responsibility for the effective management of a team/teams engaged in the execution of all phases of a project/programme from initial establishment of requirements and feasibility studies through to final handover to the client and close out.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main interface to the client on all aspects of the project cycle, providing end-to-end programme management to deliver projects at or above industry standards;
  • Advocate for the client and focus on customer satisfaction;
  • Effectively push back where appropriate to ensure best possible client outcomes – become the client’s trusted advisor;
  • Demonstrate true value-add: do more than simply delivering on a scope of services;
  • Develop and maintain effective, long term working relationships with all client representatives, stakeholders (e.g. Technology, Facilities Management, Security) and consultants;
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, responsibility, accountability and ownership;
  • Provide leadership to maximize effective contributions from all project participants and focus these to ensure the timely completion of deliverables and achievement of project objectives;
  • Manage and motivate remote project teams;
  • Review and comment on all documentation (strategies, minutes, reports, budget trackers, etc.) received from the project managers prior to submission to client to ensure a high level of quality and data integrity;
  • Guide remote project teams through the client’s project processes and promote best practice throughout the project lifecycle. Escalate and address any instances of poor performance by team members;
  • Maintain excellent data integrity (budget, schedule, status, etc.) within the online project management platform;
  • Oversee project sourcing activities in adherence to the CBRE and client process requirements;
  • Promote and enforce high standards on Health & Safety, Environment & Risk;
  • Arrange and attend weekly project meetings;
  • Focus on Project OTOB (On Time On Budget) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence;
  • Adhere to CEWA (Critical Environment Work Authorization) process and other critical processes and reporting requirements;
  • Resolve complex problems through creative problem solving;
  • Uphold the mission and standards of CBRE and support firm-wide initiatives;
  • Perform additional job duties as requested.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Project Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience;
  • Minimum five (5) years experience related to all aspects of Design/Construction/Project Management.
  • Strong knowledge of typical business practices;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem solving ability;
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills;
  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service;
  • Ability to engage the organization, the customer, and key stakeholders and establish a high level of credibility;
  • Ability to be a team leader as well as a team player;
  • Strategic thinker with a strong action/results orientation;
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize appropriately;
