In this role you will report to the EMEA & APAC Alliance Director being part of the EMEA Regional leadership team for Facility Management, Transaction & Advisory, Project Management & Finance. As the EMEA HSE Manager you will be responsible for all Safety & Health systems at the various locations and you give advice on environmental issues. You are responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Safety & Health systems. You will be working in a high paced international environment. This is why it is important for you to think outside of the box, be flexible with your working hours, build your network quick and make sure to keep a close relationship with the client.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor injury, illness, and incident related performance within the EMEA region. Monitor performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance, and develop and implement strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
  • Acts as a resource to the wider account team and the UBER Workplace stakeholders as the HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) Subject Matter Expert. Provide direct and timely advice and information in all matters related to HSE performance, compliance, trends, and concerns throughout the total life cycle of Real Estate.
  • Implement all corporate HSE initiatives, and communicate all corporate HSE priorities in a manner that effectively drives program consistency and effectiveness across the account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility.
  • Oversee the specific HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for the account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility to make certain they are current, complete, and effectively implemented.
  • Monitor HSE regulatory compliance within the account, market area, or geographical / contractual area of responsibility. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections.
  • Develop and implements strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs & natural resources while enhancing quality of services.
  • Respond to client employee concerns regarding HSE matters.
  • Support compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Client Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and client policies and procedures.

What do you bring to CBRE?

  • Bachelors degree (BA/BS/HVK);
  • Three years of related (EMEA) experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of European health and safety, and environmental regulations;
  • Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and / or compliance officers;
  • You know how to get people on board;
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal.

  • Base gross annual salary between €62.400,- and €83.200,-  (incl. 8,33% holiday allowance)

  • 8.33% Holiday allowance, 25 fixed days of leave, up to 10 days of leave to be purchased and 2 bonus days of leave when not sick for 1 year;
