Responsibilities:

  • Helps create and administer Learning and Development (L&D) training programs in three key areas: Learning Resources, Content and Curriculum Development, or Learning Platform Operations. Coordinates with department for collaboration to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Consults with business unit or LOB partners to identify learning and development needs and makes recommendations of appropriate solutions that meet organizational learning demands.
  • Develops and updates training materials, programs, curriculums and collections within the LMS as needed.
  • Manages communication and marketing plans for new courses and training updates within the department.
  • Ensures all new content creation is aligned with LMS governance guidelines.
  • Uses the learning dashboard for training analytics and standard learning metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness that help drive team initiatives.
  • Partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and/or develop content and design training material, if needed. Recommends appropriate solutions and delivery methods to optimize knowledge transfer.
  • Researches learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and integrates those into professional practice.
  • Develops sound relationships with business partners, managers, consultants and trainers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) human resources or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
  • Ability to work effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions.
  • Conducts basic financial analysis.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in use of company's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Proficiency in Learning Success Factors, company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
