CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST (Marketing Specialist/Designer)
| JOB DESCRIPTION

CBRE New Jersey is seeking an exceptionally motivated Client Services Specialist—to join an exciting, fast-paced environment, providing marketing/graphic design and communications support to some of Saddle Brook’s and East Brunswick’s top commercial real estate leaders. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Prepares customized and template marketing materials, brochures, presentations, proposals and event invitations for assigned products, services, new business development and other various communication materials (including but not limited electronic and/or direct marketing campaigns, offering memoranda, tour books, 2D and 3D maps, floor plans, and qualification packages) using Adobe Creative Suite or other CBRE software.  Providing content recommendations with a focus on ensuring that all materials meet established standards as to branding and messaging.

·       Create custom websites and semi-custom websites and manages updates (as needed).

·        Maintains and updates marketing library of presentations, brochures, and other collateral materials. Maintains and updates marketing infrastructure which may include a database system, intranet and external website, including data on all prospects.

·        Recommends and implements strategies to achieve marketing goals for assigned products and services for one or more areas, product lines, or market segments. Assists in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies sometimes working with centralized marketing group.

·        Reviews internal and external collateral materials, proofreads content, ensures appropriate branding for final distribution.

·        Building and executing social media strategy through competitive and audience research.

·        Participates in presentations with clients as applicable

·        Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college required. Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university preferred. Three years’ experience providing marketing support to multiple or team of professionals; ability to determine and respond to conflicting priorities preferred. Two years’ experience in the commercial Real Estate industry ideal.

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES

Current real estate license for where work is performed.  

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and thoughtful work-product in a customer-centric manner. Ability to effectively analyze, synthesize, and present information to clients, colleagues, and management. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or issues from clients, coworkers and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.  Ability to calculate intermediate figures Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents, as well as the ability to accurately draft and synthesize information into written and verbal communications. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Be proactive and have a strong work ethic; someone who is a team player and nimble; prioritizes conflicting needs; handles issues expeditiously; proactively follows-through on projects to successful completion in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The candidate must also possess exceptional customer service skills; this is paramount for all interactions—internal and external.  Ability to intervene where necessary, and works with colleagues to liaison between departments, team, and deliverable partners.

OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), Advanced skills with Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop) Website design skills (WordPress or comparable).

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with thorough knowledge of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause negative impact to internal and external clients.
